Nicest place we’ve stayed in our trip to South America. Modern interior, very clean with a lovely garden and super convenient location. Quiet and tranquil.

Located 3 km from Independencia Square, El Alero Hospedaje offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a garden. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. The property is 1 km from Emilio Civit Convention Center, and within 1.8 km of the city centre. Clean and great location. Owner was on site to sort any issues and was very well prepared with maps and information. 20 min walk to main restaurants and another 10 to the business end. Lots of places to change cash although rates were poor.

It feels as if we have made friends. Breakfast was basic but always enough and according to our wishes. Free parking inside de compound; internet 90 MB from pool to bedside.

The location of the house is very nice, a lot of space around and a wonderful view to mountains. The hosts are friendly and helpful, we enjoyed taking the breakfasts there and also we tried the dinner made by them (grilled meats and vegetables). The rooms are big and clean.

At the guest house, all units include bed linen and towels. I can't say enough good things about this place, or about the owner, Ariel. He's a great guy that really cares about his guests, and the accommodation is great value for money, and in an excellent location. Our bus from Chile to Mendoza was delayed by a day, and we arrived very late at night, but Ariel made sure it was easy for us to get into the room, and even said we didn't need to pay for the night we weren't there due to the delay (even though it wasn't his fault at all!).

The units will provide guests with a wardrobe and a kettle. The property was absolutely lovely and the host (Bea) was friendly and helpful. The rate was reasonable. The room was comfortable and the common areas and breakfast were quite special. The garden and outdoor spaces were beautiful. The location was perfect for venturing to the wineries and bike trails. I highly recommend this property. As an aside- We hired a driver, Rodrigo ( +54 9 2615 36-6908), who was recommended to us by friends in Canada. He was amazing! He had his own business and doesn’t work for any hotel or winery, but he’s very knowledgeable. Even before we arrived in the Mendoza area, he helped us find lodging and tours of wineries. His rates were very reasonable, he was responsive and flexible, and his advice was excellent.

All units include a safety deposit box. We liked absolutely everything about our stay. I believe I have never given an accommodation such a high rating. The facilities are very beautiful, the garden is huge, the pool was cleaned every day, the rooms are large and comfortable. But the biggest highlight is certainly the staff. Ale and his team are very friendly and helpful people. We traveled with our 6 month-old baby and they helped us with everything: crib, helping us prepare the baby’s food (cooked according as our doctor recommended), they even picked him up so we could have breakfast. At the New Year’s party that he throws for his guests (and for an excellent price, by the way) we ate the best roast in all of Mendoza and drank great wines. Everyone had such a great time and we also, thanks to them.
