When we arrived the owner had not yet seen our reservation but he greeted us in a vert kind and welcoming way. We felt at home right away! We were tired and hungry. The owner showed us the room and said that we were more than welcome to join for diner. He had a nice menu with various dishes: meat, fish and vegetarian. We had fish and meat and both dishes were delicious! Also the salad was fresh and crispy. Room was well equipped and very clean! The beds were very comfortable. And the fresh air from outside made us sleep like babies!

The place is near the lake, parking is in front of the house, friendly owners.

On a hill, 20 minutes’ walk from Lake Faakersee, Pension Waldruh offers free WiFi and a large terrace with views of the surroundings. The town centre is a 5-minute walk away. Breakfast is served on site. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choices.

Phenomenal breakfast, charming balcony view, cosy and clean room, clean bathroom with separate toilet, friendly staff and free entrance to the beach! Our stay was great and we highly recommend it.
