Opened in 2015, Das Franzl - Bett & Brot is 800 metres from the shore of Lake Wolfgang, where guests can use a lake access with a sunbathing lawn. It was a beautiful room with a fantastic balcony overlooking the surrounding mountains and hills. It was very comfortable and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I could not ask for more.

The outside of the house is too beautiful. An ideal location if you're looking to visit Salzburg / Hallstatt. The room was clean and cosy with good breakfast. The host is kind and very responsive. 10/10 recommend!

Really beautiful hotel ! Checked in easy . Great experience in the mountains. Really clean room and everything well. I guess it’s more traditional, so I used key for open and lock door. Which I don’t really mind. Nice staff. Really Helpful and friendly.

We came to Austria for skiing and had a great experience in de Leopoldhof hotel. Beautiful spa, very comfortable apartment, nice staff and great service. Hotel is located in beautiful nature next to the lake. I could imagine it’s also very nice during summer.

Our room was spotless and smelled fresh, with super cozy bath towels that made us feel right at home. The balcony was beautifully decorated with flowers, and the mountain views were just stunning—we couldn’t get enough of the peaceful surroundings. Breakfast was a highlight every morning! The bacon and scrambled eggs were delicious, and the homemade jams, yogurt, cheese were exceptional. Elizabeth was such a wonderful host—kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We’re so grateful for the care and hospitality she and her staff have provided. This place made our stay unforgettable!
