Staff was extremely friendly and prepared a celebration gift for us in a form of prosecco. Extremely nice gesture that was nicely appreciated. The hotel itself is cozy, only few floors with a decent amount of rooms. The breakfast is small but it is sufficient and included fresh herbal teas, jams and fresh honeycomb that you could just take and eat (Awesome). Hotel also has a wellness area with steam room, relaxation room, sauna and outdoor natural pool. It was exactly what you expect from the place after a whole day of hiking in the nearby mountains. What we loved the most is the spectacular view from the room, which overlooked the valley. That was something we have never seen before and we already visited a fair amount of 4-5 star hotels around Austria. I would recommend this hotel for everyone who is on a lookout for a cozy small hotel with friendly staff and wants to feel the calmness of the Alps.

Situated in Lend in the Salzburg region and Zell am See-Kaprun Golf Course reachable within 27 km, Salaterhof Embach features accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, ski-to-door access and free private parking. With garden views, this accommodation provides a balcony. The guest house has a sauna and luggage storage space. Me and my daughter have spent amazing week in Embach. It´s in beautiful area, max 1 hour driving distance from all the amazing places all around in Salzburgerland. We had comfortable apartment, we slept like babies there. Be prepared for absolutely delicious home food, especially soups were so yummy! The area is just stunning, amazing nature and very nice people. A lovely, clean newly furbished apartment and in a great location for the town. A friendly, welcoming host who made great, helpful tips on where to visit and eat locally.

The place is very clean and rather spacious. The host lives in the property, which may turn out quite helpful. You can walk to the Planai station if desired (15 minutes). Loved everything.
