We were very pleased with our private room - excellent hot shower, plenty of blankets, plug sockets on both sides of the bed and even a little table and chairs which we appreciated. The staff were very helpful.We were able to leave our big backpacks in the luggage storage (which seemed very secure) for a small fee while we went on a salt flats tour. When we returned and had a few hours to wait for our overnight bus we could wait in the hostel and use the showers and common areas (it is 20 bolivianos per person for this service but we definitely felt it was worth it!)

Hostal Jerian is gelegen in Uyuni. Privéparkeren kan worden geregeld tegen een meerprijs. The owner was a really nice man. We arrived at 7 am and he left us check in straight away no hassle at all. This was ideal as we had a trip booked to the salt flats at 10am. This gave us a chance to have a shower and quick nap before going on our day trip. The shower was nice and warm and the bed was very comfortable. Only stayed for one night but would definitely recommend others to stay here too. Didn’t have time for breakfast in the morning as we had a bus down to Argentina very early in the morning.

They have a central heating system with radiators in the room that are hot from 6pm until 10pm and from 6am until mid-morning. The bed was super comfortable with thick blankets. The combination of these two things made it a lot more cosy and warm. The staff are super friendly, kind and helpful. The hotel is very close to the centre of town. My stay included breakfast, with tasty local fresh bread, jam, and scrambled eggs. I was very pleased to stay here and strongly recommend it. The WiFi is also good throughout the property, and I was able to stream HD video.
