Offering a garden and mountain view, Bluejay Suites B&B is situated in Whitehorse, 8.7 km from S.S. Klondike National Historic Site and 16 km from Miles Canyon Suspension Bridge. This bed and breakfast features a terrace. Owned by a lovely German-Japanese couple, this house lies a little outside of the town centre in a quiet residential area. We stayed for four nights in a large room on the first floor with a private bath (including bath tub and a separate shower) as well as a nice sitting area and big windows from which you can see northern lights if you are really lucky (like we were). The owners live in the same house, but private rooms are on a different floor. Everything is very clean and spacious. You can have really good breakfast, e.g. including tasty bread (up to german standards), eggs, fresh fruits, and coffee. Always a great start into the day for us. The owners are helpful if you have any questions regarding sightseeing (e.g., northern lights) and generally try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. For us, this was not just a nice stay but downright a very positive experience.

The units come with parquet floors and feature a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, a dining area, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, and a private bathroom with hot tub and bathrobes. A microwave, a toaster and fridge are also provided, as well as a coffee machine. At the bed and breakfast, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. The accommodation was beautiful, and the hot tub was such a great addition!

All guest rooms at the inn are fitted with a private bathroom and bed linen. The location is good, the room is clean, the owner is friendly, the breakfast is hot, there is a restaurant, and the dinner is delicious!

The guest house is fitted with a TV. Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the terrace, which also has outdoor furniture. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. Cozy cabin, perfect for someone looking for an adventure in the magical Yukon. Marcel was an amazing host sharing all his local knowledge with me. Will definitely stay here again when I go back!
