They make fresh breakfast every morning and it’s fenomenal, super fresh, large portions and we got every morning a different breakfast (we stayed 2 nights). The view is breathtaking over the lake. They have free kayaks to use aswel. Highly recommend!

Be prepared for a unique experience…the shower had ornate ceiling with plants growing inside and up above. Breakfast was served “family style” and the owner/chef engaged with his guests. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. Surrounded by lush forest!

She gave us a great breakfast, helped us to figure out where to visit (hot springs, volcano, and ziplining). The location was outstanding. You can see both the volcano and a bit of the lake below, since you are perched up on a hillside. The patio was so very cool as well: swings, hammock chair, tables constructed from shipping pallets. All very sweet looking. If we ever come back to the area we will DEFINTELY stay with her again.

Hotel Nepenthe B&B offers free private parking. The host was very understandable about a situation that we had and helped us, overall is one of the most relaxing and quiet places in front of the laguna del arenal, 10/10 recommended, entrance can be a little rough but any car can enter
