It's a beautiful, quiet and relaxing lodge. The host Inge is very friendly and accommodating. She also made arrangements for a guided night nature hike nearby that was very interesting and adventurous. The breakfast was abundant and delicious! I look forward to returning for horseback riding in the near future.

We loved everything about our stay. Primo and his wife were so kind and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious. The location was perfect for us since we wanted some peace and quiet whilst still being able to access the national park by boat.

Wonderful hosts and exceptional breakfast. Julien and Marian always available and helpful with local knowledge and advice. Arranged guided kayak and jungle trip which were brilliant. The garden is beautiful and tranquil full of colours, birds and wildlife. The sounds of nature were very relaxing and gave a great night's sleep. A truly memorable and special time. Thank you x

Cabañas Daneysha está en Tortuguero y tiene piscina al aire libre, jardín, restaurante y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. El lugar y la atención de Gloria, porque además fuimos con ella a ver el desove de las tortugas, todo un espectáculo. Superaconsejable.

Cocina bien equipada. Estacionamiento muy bien. Instrucciones para llegar. Bolsas a disposicion. Muy atento y responde muy pronto a las consultas.

Black Bamboo, que tiene piscina al aire libre, jardín y terraza, dispone de alojamiento en Puerto Viejo con wifi gratis y vistas a la montaña. We really enjoyed our stay at Black Bamboo. Tonet & Nadia are exceptional hosts who made sure we felt welcome and were available all the time throughout our stay. The room was cleaned every day and laundry service was included, which was very valuable for us as a family with a small kid. The hosts even offered us sweet pancakes for breakfast some of the days, which was a very nice gesture. They also helped us figuring out the transport from San Jose to Puerto Viejo de Talamanca and connecting us with the driver directly, which was very helpful. All in all our stay has been great and we highly recommend Tonet and Nadia’s Black Bamboo for a nice and relaxing stay on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica.

We just stayed for one night while traveling but we would have stayed longer had we known the place before! Klaus is an amazingly friendly host. He took a lot of time to show us the property, served excellent breakfast and offered dinner and was all around pleasant. The guest house is well built and comfortable. There is a lot of forest in the area that you can probably go hiking in (we haven't tried given the brevity of our stay).
