Located in central San Jose, Hotel Casa 69 offers a garden patio, free Wi-Fi in public areas and individually decorated rooms with cable TV. The National Museum is just a 10-minute walk away. I come repeatedly to this small Hotel / Guesthouse and it feels like family over the years. The staff is amazing and always so very helpful in any ways.The rooms are great and the location perfect.

Everything was clean and spotless, the staff was super nice and attentive, breakfast was delicious.. They also have a detailed photobook in each room recommending trips, restaurants and activities nearby. Super helpful. Just 10/10 experience. Thank you!

I was very surprised! It's a large, neat colonial house (bungalow style). All rooms are private with bathroom and arranged around a very lush courtyard. It's spacious and well-kept, fully a equipped kitchen and a Peri grocery store at the corner. Lots of couches and books to read. The host doesn't live on site but is super friendly and responsive. There's a bus stop at the corner with plenty of busses bringing you to the center. Overall, it's the comfort of a hotel with the convenience of a hostel.

Offering an a la carte restaurant, Dantica Cloud Forest Lodge is located in Providencia. It is surrounded by private tropical gardens and boasts an on-site art gallery and free daily breakfast. beautiful peaceful and great place to hike for at least a day on their property
