When leaving, the Hostess offered us free sandwiches for our onward journey!

The owners/managers gave us an excellent breakfast and while language was a bit difficult sometimes, the mother (don’t know which her name was) went out of her way to engage us in conversation in spite of the fact my German is poor and her English non-existent. Her daughter was very attentive and, when I asked for a few extra towels, the house cleaner was very friendly and obliging. All-in-all, this place ended up being a very nice place to stay. Loved the beautiful stairway!

I have never met such a kind and helpful hostess. Since we were in the apartment, we didn't order breakfast, but in the morning, in addition to freshly baked pastries, the hostess set us up with milk for coffee and various spreads.
