The best place we've stayed in Ecuador so far. The room was ridiculously large, with three double beds, a sitting area, and a good bathroom with a nice hot shower. The shared kitchen had everything you need, there are a couple of common sitting areas, plus a rooftop with a small but lovely sitting area. View of the volcano from the roof. There is also a clothes washing machine available. Alberto was a great host and had tons of information about the area. Fantastic value.

Breakfast was very good - homemade and served at the hour of your choosing. The host asked the evening before what time and what I would like. Location is quiet and peaceful, rooms are comfortable. Note all rooms are up a flight of stairs. I did not mind, but do note that the room has a skylight so it gets light with the sunrise.
