Tamer and his family are extremely welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The entire village is very safe, and the locals are some of the kindest people you’ll meet, always willing to go out of their way to help. If you’re considering a stay in West Aswan, I highly recommend Nuba Heart. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Mr Adel cares about his guests and goes above and beyond. He organized a transfer from Aswan for us for a good price. He also helped us by talking to the bank teller to break down large notes and took us to a restaurant with great vegetarian food. He also prepared us a vegetarian breakfast. The location is nice and quiet and you can hear the birds when you up. He is knowledgeable about Nubian culture and also organizes trips down the Nile. Crocodiles, birds, food, there is a lot more to Abu Simbel than just the temple. Longer stays recommended for those looking for an off the beaten track experience.
