The room although a little small was very well compensated by the perfect location close to the shopping area, the old town and the beach as well as close to the bus station. The room was very clean and well equipped and close to many restaurant. San Sebastian has a lot to offer as culture, wonderful food and beautiful beaches and well located close to Bilbao with the amazing Guggenheim museum and French towns such as Biarriz.

La Pensión Peñaflorida se halla en el distrito centro de San Sebastián, a 300 metros del teatro Victoria Eugenia y a 500 metros del Kursaal. It was quiet, central to both the old town and the newer shopping district as well as the beach, touristy places. It was fuss free, with coffee and croissants provided in the morning.

La Pensión Kursaal se encuentra a solo 45 metros del centro de convenciones y auditorio de San Sebastián y ofrece habitaciones luminosas con calefacción central y WiFi gratuita. San Sebastian is a gem. Pension Kursal is in a wonderful location in the less touristy neighborhood of Gros. 2 minutes from beach, 10 minutes from train and bus station and a quick walk over a bridge to old town. The Staff was kind and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. San Sebastian is the most expensive city in Spain but well worth it.

GETXO ROOMS dispone de alojamiento en Getxo. El alojamiento se encuentra a 3 min a pie de Puente de Vizcaya, a 10 km de Bilbao Exhibition Centre y a 12 km de Museo de Bellas Artes de Bilbao. At the suggestion of Correos, we started our Bilbao segment of the Camino del Norte at the Guggenheim Museum and followed the path along the Nervion River the entire distance to Gexto. Gexto Rooms was chosen primarily due to its proximity to the Vizcaya Bridge (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), but was much more! This small hotel seems to be newly renovated with great attention to detail and hospitality. Bathroom was modern and clean and roomy. Bed was very comfortable and linens were of nice quality. Our hosts were gracious, accommodating, and interested in providing a fine stay, which it was! Note for pilgrims: Though not the "official" Way, this alternate route made for an easy warm-up day to begin our hike to Santander. Civil improvements being made to the pedestrian walkway have softened this largely industrial zone and a Lidl supermarket, located about 5 miles in, carried any beverages or snacks you might wish to stock up on. Arriving in Las Arenas early in the afternoon allowed for a relaxed start to our week and time to enjoy the town's beach promenade and sample plenty of pinchos! The following morning, we crossed over to Portugalete via the gondola— an experience that we would've otherwise missed! The Camino's yellow arrow was easy to find on the other side.

Pension Mendi Azpi Rooms está en Mutriku, a 17 min a pie de Playa Hirugarren Hondartza y a 47 km de Paseo de La Concha. We stayed one night while walking the Camino Del Norte. The rooms were modern, clean, quiet — and beds very comfortable, we felt right at home. The location is perfect, a short walk to the town square for dinner and shopping. And there is a wonderful coffee shop across the street for breakfast,

Satori Suites está en San Sebastián, a 6 min a pie de Playa de Ondarreta, y ofrece vistas a la ciudad. El alojamiento está cerca de Paseo de La Concha, de Peine del Viento y de Isla de Santa Clara. It was a really big and tidy room. The bed was so comfortable and it had everything we needed. We have meet the host Daniel, he provided us with many tips and a very interesting guide for San Sebastian. There were free drinks in the fridge too! We could not ask for more and felt very mich at home.

B&B Eguzkitza está en Elgeta, en la región de País Vasco, a 30 km de Santuario de Arantzazu. Ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, zona de barbacoa, jardín y parking privado gratis.
