Offering a sun terrace and views of the garden, Björnhofvda Gård is set in Björnhuvud in the Åland Islands Region, 30 km from Mariehamn. The dinners were absolutely delicious and the whole decour of the hotel was so beautiful. Pretty much everything was spot on.

The breakfast is among the best we have had in a BnB, with homemade buns, cakes and jams. Tea and her husband were gracious, friendly and welcoming hosts and had good tips for trips and things to see and do. The huts are small but cozy and very clean.

Country setting near Kastelholm castle and museums. Host pleasant, responsive. Dont miss eating at Smakbyn!

The staff was super helpful and welcoming, and the building and surroundings charming. I've never stayed in prettier rooms! There's a sense of calm to the place, and almost a feeling of being transported back in time. The location is convenient for people driving and cycling, I'm sure, but also for people hiking! There's a bus stop right next to Amalia, which makes exploring Åland on foot convenient. With Amalia as your base camp, you'll have a lovely place to return to after your adventure. The breakfast was good, especially the homemade bread. And at the end of a whole day of hiking, there's nothing better than a cold bottle of lemonade, made in the factory right next door!

The property was a clean, well maintained historic reflection of the past. It is located close to the ferry. The staff was very welcoming, and friendly. There were many choices for breakfast and it was delicious. There was a sauna on the property which we enjoyed.
