It was truly wonderful talking to MArion and Gilles and listening to their story of restroing the house and the grounds. I wish them the very best for the future and keep going! A continental breakfast is available at the bed and breakfast. We were greeted at the door by a lovely couple who made us feel very welcome and totally at ease. This was Virginie and Pascal and whilst Virginie entertained us in the living room, Pascal carried our luggage up three flights of stairs. Also, as we took a shower, Pascal booked an excellent restaurant nearby and even walked us to it so we couldn't go wrong. The next morning, we were presented with a most excellent breakfast at a time that accorded with our ferry check-in time. This breakfast included their own exquisite homemade jams and marmalades, and Pascal had gone out that morning for fresh bread and cheeses that were well chosen for quality. Car parking was outside the door but, Pascal offered us the use of his private site around the other side of the house. This bed and breakfast is exactly what good accommodation should be and is run by a couple who care about their reputation and offer what they would expect themselves. Consequently, I have no hesitation in highly recommending Le Clos Des Mouettes. Well done Virginie and Pascal.
