We had a perfect stay at Balnabrechan Lodge. Jules is a wonderful host, giving plenty of great recommendations of things to do, eat and places to go, including ongoing events. The lodge is just wonderful, everything you need is there, we loved that there is a bathtub. Places to sit outside and relax. The location is very close to the Lunan Bay and beach, which is extremely beautiful. A large sand beach for long walks. Absolutely everything was just perfect and we had a really great stay, we will be back next time for sure!

Kirkstyle Hideaway heeft uitzicht op de tuin, en biedt accommodatie met een patio en een waterkoker, op 16 km van Lunan Bay. Everything was wonderful! Angela is a wonderful hostess. The fridge was stocked with breakfast items and the microwave made it possible for me to heat up soup or something for dinner if I wanted. I really liked being able to take my breakfast/ dinner out to the little enclosed patio and appreciate being outside but still protected from the elements. The Hideaway is secluded if you want alone time but close enough to the town to still be able to participate in things. Tucked right across the street from St Vigeans Church and next to the little museum with Pictish carved stones (both of which are great to visit). It has beautiful walks into the countryside right behind the Hideaway and is only about a mile walk along a little creek to Arbroath Abbey. Another half mile walk through downtown and you’re at Arbroath Harbour. I couldn’t say enough wonderful things about this as it was perfect for my time there.
