The highlight of the stay was a fantastic breakfast- there was a choice of sourdough breads, yoghurt/berries, fantastic cooked Irish breakfast and the host even organised crepes for my 10 year old! I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who wants to explore Sligo while staying in a tranquil, cozy location with a fantastic lake view, comfortable beds and excellent breakfast!

Evening was great! I really enjoyed and relaxed with the hosts and the animals. The room was so clean, well organized and cosy. More than anything, the hosts are so nice. l could feel just like staying with my old friends.

It's a top class b and b, beautiful house, lovely and spacious and modern and clean..couldn't fault one thing .breakfast was so good ..people were so kind and warm...super stay ..would look forward to going back

Her experience and attention to detail shines throughout this luxurious Guest House. Very welcoming, spotless throughout and bedrooms are very well kitted out with all the facilities that you would find in a top class facility. Her breakfasts are delicious 😋 with a great selection available. Well done and we highly recommend a stay here .

Anything we needed was promptly provided (extension cord, floor heater). She cooked us a traditional Irish breakfast and it was delicious! The country setting was quiet, beautiful and picturesque. We genuinely enjoyed our stay at the Amber Inn.
