Beautiful retreat, amazing friendly staff, activities included (we did a really fun perfume making course), lovely food, huge and comfortable tent with air con and lovely bathroom. Lovely pools and hot tubs. Can’t fault it. One of the best places we’ve stayed, wish we had been able to stay longer.

At Khan Alsira - חאן אלסרה, the rooms come with a seating area. Our stay at Khan Alsira was a very nice experience for our family. We booked both the tent and the two-room apartment so that our group members had a choice in case the tent would be less comfortable. However, most of them preferred the tent. We had breakfast in the tent as well on the first day. Second day we had to leave very early to catch our flight but the owner prepared a take away breakfast for us that we could consume during the trip to the airport. The hospitality of the bedouin family was great. We also had dinner with them and tea and the owner told us a lot about their way of life and how they cope with all the constraints of having to take care for a lot of facilities like energy and waste collection themselves. The location is perfect for trips to destinations in the Negev or around the Dead Sea. Negev Camel Ranch is only 30 minutes away and Dead Sea around 45 minutes. We can absolutely recommend this place.

A 25-minute drive from the Dead Sea, the Yehelim Boutique Hotel lies on the outskirts of Arad. It offers spacious rooms with a spa bath and private balcony with views of the desert. The UNESCO-protected Masada Ruins are 20 km away. We were upgraded to a suite with an amazing view over the desert till the dead sea and with a jacuzzi. Team is very attentive, they even found a yoga mat for me. There is coffee, tea and cookies in the lobby, they give good hiking hints. Breakfast is amazing prepared with a lot of love for details.
