The central train station is a 5 minute walk way, Piazza Maggiore (the central square of Bologna) about 10-15 minutes way, and there are plenty of breakfast options in the vicinity.

A perfect stay in Bologna We stayed at La Casa Delle Dee and couldn’t be happier with our choice. The place was spotless, very spacious, and in a great location—close to everything you need to enjoy the city. Maria, the host, was absolutely wonderful. She stayed in touch with us the entire time, helped with every question we had, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She even offered us complimentary coffee and croissants for breakfast, which was such a thoughtful touch.
