It was so spacious and had all the facilities we could possibly need. The tatami traditional style bedroom was lovely. The whole place was thoughtfully decorated and felt cosy. The owner was very helpful and kind. I thought honmura was a great location to be in perfect to bike ride or bus to other locations as well as having the beautiful art house projects in the same area. There was heating and cooling, all the amenities we could need. I did not ask about laundry but I’m sure Kisake would have helped with this as well.

We had fun drawing in the guest book. All very clean and a great location. We were also able to leave our luggage at the bike shop at the port.

The kind owner welcomed us warmly and we had access to a large part of the house, including a private shower and toilet. The house itself was an authentic countryside Japanese home, which added to the charm of our experience. A pleasant surprise was the availability of push bikes for free, making it easy to explore the area. The location was very convenient for visiting the major museums. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we highly recommend it!
