The Moiwa Lodge offers access to fresh ski tracks, away from the crowds. Ik vond het ontbijt ontzettend goed! alleen jammer dat het binnen een kort tijdsframe valt, als je iets vroeger de veren uit gaat of iets later dan moet je zelf iets regelen voor ontbijt.

Niseko OAC Lodge ligt op 5 minuten rijden van het skiresort Niseko Higashiyama en biedt eenvoudige accommodatie in westerse stijl met gratis WiFi. The lodge is cosy, warm, clean and perfect for a snow holiday. Shared bathrooms, but this works well, with high pressure hot water and toiletries provided. Nice restaurant and bar in the hotel, that serves a suitable breakfast and nice evening meals. The location is 5 mins drive to the Hilton lift and 10 mins drive to Niseko village. It’s a wonderful quiet location, but close enough to the action. But for our group, the main part was the wonderful friendly owner Sayuri, the whole team of brilliant staff (thanks to Sandip for the lift each day) and the beautiful little dog. The staff at Grandpapa are both very friendly and helpful, they ensured that our stay was very pleasant. The breakfast option served in the morning is delicious and gives you energy for a day on the slopes (¥300 per day). Grandpapa also offers a complementary shuttle service to the base of the mountain ensuring you can make it to the first chair which is awesome. They were also super accommodating when an extra friend decided to join us, upgrading us to a triple room. This is a great place to stay in Hirafu especially if you are a super keen snowboarder/skier who wants a more down to earth/ski lodge stay.

Guest House ONLY ONE bevindt zich in Niseko, op 46 km van Toyameer, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Superb location out it the countryside but not far from local attractions. Very quiet rural setting.

I’ve stayed in many places in Hokkaido, Gurugulu is by far the best. Amazing space, very warm and welcoming. Very friendly couple running the lodge. Incredible, peaceful scenery.

Everyone was very caring, helpful, and a good laugh and the complimentary breakfast was amazing each morning. The common areas were always friendly and the rooms themselves were very cosy, clean and nice. A great location to Annupuri resort and there was plenty of food options around.

I originally booked Pension Cotton Farm just as a convenient place near the ski resort, but it turned out to be so much more—I felt an overwhelming sense of warmth and happiness during my stay! The host is a friendly and cheerful woman who made my solo trip feel less lonely. She often chatted with me, sharing stories about her interests, work, and the local culture, making me feel completely at home. Her mother plays the piano in the lounge, her father crafts fishing tools in the workshop, and her sweet grandmother greets guests every morning with a gentle voice—small gestures that create a truly heartwarming atmosphere. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, especially the homemade fruit jam—I loved it so much that I even bought two jars to bring back to Taiwan! Their home-made fruit wine was also fantastic. I regret not trying more flavors—I should have had two different ones every day! The entire place is spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained, which is impressive for a wooden house. The bathroom was bright, pristine, and filled with Japanese charm, making my stay even more enjoyable.
