The BEST stay in Sri Lanka! The family are so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was out of this world. So special to try so many different Sri Lankan food options, we were truly spoilt! The room was great, spacious and so clean. The bathroom was massive and had a good shower. The bed was comfortable and the aircon was fantastic too. We really appreciated the decorations for our honeymoon stay. What sets this stay apart from others is how welcomed we felt. Chaminda was always around to answer questions, organised a safari for us and even took us to a local shop in his tuktuk. It’s the perfect location, lots of restaurants and shops nearby within walking distance. Super close to Lion’s Rock too. We would really recommend the Safari jeep tour with Tharanga (Kindly organised by Chaminda) we had a private tour of Eco park and saw so many elephants it was incredible! For a really great price too. Tharanga was lovely and knew exactly where to go to see the elephants, he also kept his distance which we appreciated. All in all, this was our favourite stay in this amazing country and we can’t recommend it enough!

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely sisters and their adorable kids. They treated us to a refreshing fresh juice made from fruits right from their garden, which was such a thoughtful touch. The cottage itself was super clean and comfortable, providing a perfect space to relax. We had a great night's sleep, and the breakfast served was absolutely delicious! There are several restaurants, with just a short 10-minute walk away. We had the pleasure of dining at the brother’s restaurant, “Downtown,” where the food was fantastic and service was exceptional. The kindness and hospitality of the family truly made our experience unforgettable. I wish them all the success with their new business—they have so much to be proud of! If you're looking for a charming place to stay, I highly recommend Sigiri Enaya Cottage. You won’t be disappointed!

Set within 17 km of Sigiriya Rock and 20 km of Pidurangala Rock, Hotel Hanguk Villa offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Dambulla. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. All rooms come with a patio with views of the mountain. Excellent clean room, friendly welcome. Nice fresh juice on arrival. Better than the pictures! Very nice new AC, great bathroom with hot showers, really good mosquito nets with elastic edging. Set well back from the lorry and bus filled busy main road with really nice views across to the hills, was very tranquil. Can sit out the front of your room or there was the covered eating area with dartboard. Re-opened 7 months ago and the new owners are doing a great job. Included breakfast with fruit, toast and eggs. Would thoroughly recommend this place if staying in dambulla, great value and as mentioned before, away from the busy main road.

This accommodation was probably our best during our entire stay in Sri Lanka. Everything was very clean, very well furnished and the owner was very helpful, friendly and happy to chat with us. We were pleased with the welcome drink and of course the excellent breakfast. We can only recommend it.

At the guest house, units are fitted with bed linen and towels. We booked this place for two days and thought it was just a place to stay. But, when we arrived there they welcomed us warmly. It was located in a calm area and all the required facilities were there. The bed was decorated with fresh flowers and beautiful wall art was there. The air-conditioned bedroom with comfortable pillows and a bed, and a bathroom with hot water systems. They manage and maintain the property very well. Also, they provided a delicious homemade breakfast with fresh fruit juice and slices too. No additional cost for it. Also, they arranged a superb dinner as per our request. Overall, what we can say is It was 100% worth it to us if we compare it to the paid amount to them.
