The room was spacious with a big and comfy bed. The facilities were clean and the most important for my wife was the fact that there were no bugs in the room or other common rooms of the hotel. The staff was very friendly but professional and always ready to help. I recommend to try out the Sri Lankan breakfast. It is delicious. Even during our day of check-out we could keep our luggages at the reception and use the hotels swimming pool. Shout out to the manager of the hotel, he informed us about the pricea for tuk tuks and boomed us a transport to the airport at an even lower prices than via pickme up application.

Talalla-strand ligt op 12 minuten lopen. balcony with a nice view, green surroundings, very good local breakfast, we could use the washing machine and the bikes, we could take the dog for a walk, everyone was very friendly, uncomplicated extention of our stay, the beach in Talalla is quite empty so there are not a lot of tourists there which was perfect for us, we loved our stay!

This is a beautiful hostel with amazing views and great clean facilities! It’s been the nicest one I’ve stayed in thus far! So close to the beach and great local restaurants! And the walk there Is beautiful!The hosts were very kind and lovely and even helped me plan my bus route up to ella! I highly recommend and was sad to leave!

Surf Lodge Madiha heeft een tuin, een privéstrand, een terras en een restaurant in Matara. The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away.
