The hotel is located in a picturesque place among green rice fields. We loved walking around the area - there are large lakes nearby, and there are few people around, but an incredible number of peacocks. A real kingdom of peacocks. The room was clean and spacious, with a balcony with a great view. There was also a big shared terrace to work online or to do yoga. The fans helped to cope with the heat, which was important for us. We really liked the Srilankan food at the hotel - delicious and served with great elegance. Manager Inbaraj was always attentive and helped us with any questions. On his advice, we visited two temples - Rock Temple where you can see dozens of funny monkeys and Kataragama Maha Devalaya. Both places are interesting and atmospheric, especially the latter, which is famous for its festivals throughout the country. We hope to come back here next year to see the beauty of the nature and to feel the special friendly atmosphere.

Construction wasn't done in some parts of the facility. But the available rooms were at good standard. Good value to your money.

The location is great if you are into nature and calm places, away from the crowds. He welcomed us with tea and snacks and we went for a short hike around the place. After that, Michael cooked the best rice and curry we've tried in Sri Lanka in about a month of our stay. Plus, you are welcome to learn the recipe! I would definitely come back to meet him back again.
