Small resort with two large A-frame suites. Contemporary design/decor and well maintained grounds made for a visually appealing experience. Rooms are large with a full ensuite bath/shower. Glass wall at the front lets you see the grounds during the day; full set of curtains gives you the necessary privacy at night. For the price I found the value exceptional. Location is close to town but we used Tuk Tuk's to get there and back.

This is the most incredible family run hotel, I cannot praise it enough. Located just down the road from the National Park so it's the most perfect resting spot either before or after a Safari. You cannot really describe the tranquility and peaceful ambiance of this hotel, it is incredible! The rooms are immaculately clean, really comfortable and well presented. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful and were so kind and friendly to both us and our children. The hotel has a fantastic pool which is the perfect place to cool off in the afternoon. The food is some of the best that we have tasted whilst travelling Sri Lanka, completely delicious and freshly cooked dinner and breakfast. The value for money is excellent and you get the feel of high end at a really reasonable price. I'd say that this hotel is a must stay whilst visiting this area. We plan to return on our next trip. EdenHaven Cottage, que cuenta con jardín, terraza y vistas al jardín, se encuentra en Udawalawe, a 14 km de Parque nacional Udawalawe. The staff was very helpful with everything, arranging our tour, and answering all of our questions prior to our trip. The room was very clean and modern, and the bathroom was also spotless and beautiful

Nature World Udawalawe se encuentra en Udawalawe, a 15 km de Parque nacional Udawalawe, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. We booked the hut for two days with kids . It was private and beautiful and much better than the photos. The food was excellent and generous . They also provide safari wich was amazing with a lot of animals and additional time . We was even lucky and spotted a leopard. The hoke experience was very nice. We recommend the place and the safari guide.

Forest Edge Safari Villa se encuentra a 16 km de Parque nacional Udawalawe, en Udawalawe, y dispone de jardín y terraza. Very clean and spacious rooms! Perfect located in Udawalawe, close to restaurants and not far from the Elephant Transit Home. Janith was an excellent host, making the little extra for us. He even drove us to the Elephant Transit Home in his jeep when we asked him if it was easy to get there by TukTuk. For breakfast make sure to ask him for his mother’s delicious toast!

Jungle View River Camping está en Udawalawe, a 15 km de Parque nacional Udawalawe, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín y parking privado gratis. Nice tent house, really friendly and welcoming hosts. We were greated by a welcome drink, the family cooked us a really nice 4 curry dinner. They also helped us organise a safari trip and gave us a king coconut on our way out. We really enjoyed our stay and the whole experience. Highly recommend.

I would stay longer in this magical place if I could. Feels like in the jungle although is not far away from main street. Cottages are beautiful and comfy, Eco shower is a blast : )
