What made our stay amazing was the host Rose. She helped us organise all the activities and she always drove us from and to the village whenever we needed (2 mins by car, but quite difficult on foot as it is very hot during the day). Rose also helped us organise our trip to the next destination. She is one of the best hosts we met, and we are already planning to come back to do the cave activity in the jungle! 😀 Thank you Rose!

We spent 2 nights in Belai Serama and it has been the highlight of our trip. The rooms are basic and clean, the breakfast simple but good enough to start the day, the dinner... we adored! Homemade, fresh, delicious! And then, there is this beautiful garden overlooking the river... 😍 We wished we had more days to spend there. Last but not least, Ijak has been a wonderful host (his wife was absent those days). He arranged all our amazing activities. He was very hospitable and kind. Thank you!

Very friendly owner living in the nearby house. Clean room with mosquito net (we didn't need), towels, etc. Nothing classy (remember, its on the edge of a rain forest), but it's got all a tired traveler needs. Since Kuala Tahan is very small village, everything is nearby (food stalls, laundry, market, travel agencies).

My room was very colorful, big, very quiet and with a balcony. The view is just amazing. The bed very comfortable, with a mosquito net. I loved this place and I felt at peace here !!!!
