Namgate Guesthouse se encuentra en Grünau y dispone de piscina al aire libre, jardín, terraza y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. El lugar es muy pintoresco y agradable. Decoración externa muy trabajada. Habitaciones en un edificio moderno. La nuestra (planta baja) era excesivamente amplia pues estaba preparada para una familia o grupo numeroso (cama grande, bien de colchón y sábanas, sofá cama y 2 literas dobles: aquello parecía casi un hospital). Cocina con todo lo necesario (incluido frigorífico grande) y baño con dos lavabos, inodoro aparte y ducha de cabina con mampara (bien de agua y de toallas). Mesa con sillas y dos sillones. Zona de estar con barbacoa (compartida) afuera. Aire acondicionado. Mucho sitio para el coche. La llegada se hace por un desvío de tierra-arena (1,5 km) desde la carretera principal. Limpieza y wifi bien. Personal muy amable. Hay un gran salón común con una gran TV donde pudimos ver como Carlos Alcaraz perdía contra el danés Rune junto a la propietaria del lugar, forofa del murciano, según nos dijo. Un alojamiento muy agradable y cuidado con césped, árboles exóticos, pajareras, decoración a base de coches viejos y... hasta la tumba del fundador en la parte de atrás.

Noordoewer Country Escape está en Noordoewer, a 48 km de Aussenkehr Nature Reserve y a 31 km de Nababiep Nature Reserve. We stayed overnight on our way from Cape Town back to Windhoek. Situated on a farm close to the centre of Noordoewer, the accommodation is comfortable with several lovely touches and attention to detail, including a Nespresso machine. The hosts are welcoming and friendly and the views are spectacular. They also offer braai packs and breakfast packs, which one can order in advance. I can highly recommend this as a great place to overnight on the Cape Town - Windhoek route.

We needed a stopover near Onseepkans prior to an early ish border crossing into Namibia. This place is perfect for that or for a longer stay in the area. The owners run the vineyard/farm and are absolutely charming... Henkie even helped me pick my motorcycle up when I dropped it 😆🤪 They showed us the raisin and onion seed harvest, which was very interesting. The room, bathroom and shared kitchen area is just perfect with a stunning veranda and outdoor eating/braai area. We saw so many birds in the evening around the pond and the stars were immense! Truly a lovely stay.
