I'm originally from the area so knew the location very well and it was perfect for me. For people not familiar with the area, it is about a 10 minute walk from the train station that takes you to Leiden or Haarlem. From there you can take connections to anywhere in the country. It is very close to all flower fields and easy access to motorways. Room was beautifully done out, all the facilities you might want/need. Very clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. I had to work when I was there and Wifi was good throughout.

The Lake Inn is an amazing place to stay. Hosts are super nice and welcoming. The atmosphere is great. Rooms are really clean, nice and warm. The breakfast was amazing, with buns, fruits and croissants as well as with delicious scrambled eggs. The coffee is also great and the cappuccino was like from the best cafe :). There was a possibility to get bikes that was amazing because we could easily explore area around the lake and neighbourhood.
