The Atlantic Ocean Road is 25km away. It was a very unique and pleasant experience . The location , the friendliness of staff , every thing was wonderful . Serene , peaceful , quiet !

What made this stay so special was how it felt like visiting good friends. The moment I walked in, I was welcomed by the inviting and carefully decorated space - every corner felt cozy and full of charm. The hospitality of the hosts, a lovely couple, was outstanding. They prepared both breakfast and dinner, and we shared these meals together, talking and enjoying the food made with love. Their recommendations for hikes and viewpoints helped make my weekend both relaxing and fulfilling.

We were met at the door by the proprietor of this quaint older world style inn. Even the key to our room was an old-fashioned skeleton key, adding even more charm. The inn has about 8 guest rooms. We shared our bathroom with another couple but never actually saw them. Everything was clean and well stocked, and the inn was easy to find. We were offered breakfast but didn't take them up on it, so I can't comment about the food. There was a stunning golden chain tree blooming in the front lawn. (We went in late May.) We would highly recommend Josygaard.

The property itself is beautiful. The room I stayed in was well appointed and very comfortable. The house had everything you need with a very comprehensive and delicious breakfast spread. Beyond that, I just want to really think the staff. I got in somewhat late to the airport and my bag did not make it with me. This led to me getting in it almost midnight and they were so kind about it. I was met and brought to my room very kindly so that I wouldn’t get lost getting in so late. There is nothing but kindness and consideration and friendliness. I couldn’t ask for better!

Easily accessible from the airport with a bus stop just by the house. Owners were very accommodating and let us leave our bags at the front desk while we visited the museum next door. This is a beautifully restored old building so it did feel a little like a night in a museum - but with modern facilities like a fridge, kettle and hairdryer ! The bed is super comfy it was warm and cosy and the breakfast was left in the fridge for us to eat in the dining space. I would recommend.
