Location was the best part of the lodge, it do feel remote and away from the city but it's really worth. Lodge is next to a free flowing river and view is breath taking and awesome.

All guest rooms feature traditional décor and a private bathroom with shower. The staff was amazing. They put on an evening meal which is extra but definitely worth it. The food was excellent and was served by the owners daughter. During the meal she told us all stories about the history of the hotel and about the professional chefs that work there. She even gave us a tour of the hotel. This is a small, old hotel but is very nice. The room was large and had modern facilities in the bathroom and the bed was comfortable. There is no elevator so we had to negotiate the old creaky stairs but in this case it added to the charm of the place.

Some units in the guest house have private entrance and are fitted with desk and outdoor furniture. Some units also have a well-fitted kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, an oven, and a microwave. At the guest house, every unit is equipped with a private bathroom. It was so nice and people friendly
