She met us the next morning and showed us her prized Sheep and gave us some tips on what to see as we travelled South.

The host, Julie, is absolutely warm, helpful and friendly. She stated that the lodge is 'her baby' and it shows. The bed is one of the most comfortable beds we've ever had and the room was furnished with such care and class.

Very quiet, love the location and all the animals, birds, and nature. Very clean, comfortable beds and the wifi worked great. Very nice outside terrace for sitting. Also we took a taxi with Whanganui Taxi Company (Joseph) into town for drinks in the evening, which was easy and worked well.
