The staff were so attentive and lovely throughout our stay and made us feel very welcome and well looked after. The location is very close to the cave and a lovely quiet beach at the end of the road. We had a scooter so getting around the island and into Bohol was easy, we would recommend this as there isn’t much you can reach via foot by staying here. The added bonus of the pool table and basketball court were favourites of ours! We also ate here a lot as they catered well for vegetarians, the food was tasty and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend 😊

At the bed and breakfast, the units are equipped with bed linen and towels. A room I stayed and a shared bathroom were cleaned. Bed was comfy. Wifi in my room was sufficient. Emma, James and staff were very helpful and kind. It really felt like staying at home. Location was good too, closes to Alona beach within walking distance and 10 to 30 mins by scooter exploring around Panglao area from the homestay place. For other places in Bohol, it could be a long ride on scooter from the place.

Situated in Panglao, 1 km from Alona Beach and 12 km from Hinagdanan Cave, Katulganan Inn features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 21 km from Baclayon Church. Don’t let the lack of reviews put you off! This place is new and we had a great stay. Good location away from the noise, but only 7 minute walk to the centre. The road is a dirt road, but only a tiny section got muddy when it rained, so very easy to traverse. Also somewhat well lit. The staff were incredibly friendly and so lovely. They’d honestly do anything for you. We were running late for our ferry and they drove us themselves to the port. The room was really clean and the place is new. You also get a bug light in the room, which gives you peace of mind against mosquitoes. You’re also provided a kettle with coffee and some shampoo and body wash. The shower was on the colder side, but the pressure was amazing, best we’ve had so far. You are near local families, so expect some animal noises but it wasn’t too bothersome.
