From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a gem! The location could not be better – easy parking right by the property, just a pleasant stroll into town, perfectly situated for exploring the entire island, and conveniently close to a large supermarket. We always felt completely safe here, which added so much peace of mind to our holiday. The cleanliness is simply impeccable – everything spotless and fresh, every day. The entire place is beautifully organized, with a layout that makes it feel both spacious and homely. The kitchen is especially well thought out: each room has its own assigned table, cupboard, and set of plates, utensils, and cooking items, which keeps things wonderfully neat and easy for everyone. And then there is Catarina – what a host! She is truly the heart of this place. Warm, sincere, and full of genuine care, she puts her soul into making her guests feel welcome and valued. She visits daily to tidy and refresh the common areas, replace the flowers, and, more often than not, surprise guests with delicious homemade or local treats. She is thoughtful, adaptable, and always ready to help – whether it’s offering great local tips or simply checking in via message to see if we needed anything. We felt so looked after and appreciated her kindness enormously. The property itself feels like a peaceful haven – quiet, comfortable, and infused with warmth and charm. Everything here has been designed with the guest’s comfort in mind, and you can feel the love and pride that goes into it. We travel often, but this stay will remain a highlight for us. If you’re looking for a spotless, perfectly located, safe, and beautifully run accommodation with a host who truly cares, look no further – this is the place! We would return in a heartbeat.

The Plantation Faial está en Feteira y cuenta con vistas al mar, jardín, salón de uso común y terraza. En el bed and breakfast, tanto el wifi como el parking privado son gratis. Really enjoyed the breakfast and the vibe of the property within the banana plantation. The rooms were comfortable and the hosts were excellent. Andreas arranged a transfer for us from the airport to the hotel.

Solar dos Cantos Botanic House & Garden se encuentra en Ponta Delgada, a 13 km de Pico do Carvao, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. This was probably one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever visited. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. The interior is amazing, and the windows offer amazing views. The hotel staff is very kind and will always help with any questions. Huge recommendations!

The Rock Hostel, que está a 12 km de Pico do Carvao y a 24 km de Lago de las Siete Ciudades, ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y baño privado en Ponta Delgada. We spent very little time at the property (literally only slept there), but absolutely no complaints - the room was huge, perfectly clean, great bathroom, they were flexible with check in and even offered to pack us a breakfast box because our flight was too early to take advantage of the buffet. Would definitely recoomend!

Casa Portuguesa - Charming House se encuentra en Ponta Delgada, a 12 km de Pico do Carvao y a 24 km de Lago de las Siete Ciudades, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado, piscina al... We liked everything from the room to the breakfast, the jacuzzi & the outdoor pool even if we did not used it as it was freezing cold, we suggest that it should be converted to a heated one. Lovely traditional house in the right spot 5 mins walk to the main restaurants & shops of Ponta Delgada.

Olive Boutique Guesthouse está en Vila Franca do Campo, a 5 min a pie de Praia do Corpo Santo y a 9,3 km de Lago de Congro, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado, piscina al aire... Everything was new and clean and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Especially love the left over breakfast pastries they set out as midday snacks.

Senhora do Carmo Charm House está a 14 min a pie de Praia do Pópulo y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, salón de uso común y servicio de conserjería. Excelente el alojamiento y sobre todo el trato amable y siempre pendiente del personal. Mis felicitaciones por tan buen trabajo. Los desayunos fantásticos.

Solar de Santo André dispone de piscina al aire libre, jardín, salón de uso común y terraza en Ponta Delgada. Este alojamiento, que cuenta con habitaciones familiares, también ofrece barbacoa. We loved this hotel!!! Perfectly situated in the city with 3 minute walking distance to restaurants, shops, and parks. The hotel staff is extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early. The breakfast was fantastic (they always remembered I liked my eggs fried) and housekeeping was amazing. Could not recommend more!
