The pension is located 10 minute drive from the main entrance to the Slovenský raj National Park. There is a train (like those small trains for kids in parks, that runs on the road and has three small cars) that stops right next to the pension and takes passengers to and from the National Park. Gabriella, the owner, is a wonderful person and most helpful. She recommends the most interesting trails in the park, prepares delicious dinners, and helps in any way she can. My room was convenient and had everything I needed. There are tables under a pavilion in the back yard, where one can sit, play, and work.

The place itself is very interesting. The silence, old buildings and church around. It’s like living in an art gallery / museum. :) The building is old but everything is very well maintained and very clean. Parking spot for the car. Staff spoke in English fluently.
