A wide selection of trips are available. The village is local and the people are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend a visit to anyone wanting an adventure in this fabulous part of Senegal.

Marie and Benoit were excellent hosts! They helped me arrange my visit to the Fathala Games Reserve and arranged a boat ride for me to see a Pelicans dormitory and Shell Island. They were very helpful and I totally enjoyed my stay with them

Desde luego lo mejor de este alojamiento es el trato de yaya, el gerente. Nos dio buena información y nos prestó mucha atención todo el tiempo, incluso acompañándonos al embarcadera para asegurarse de que no habría ningún malentendido, al haber tenido una mala experiencia nosotros en el viaje. Además habla español, lo cual siempre se agradece.

Visiting Keur Niaye is like spending a vacation in the country with your favorite aunt as a kid. This is thanks to Celine and Gilles, who created a beautiful place, gather their guests around the dinner table for warm and mind-opening conversations and inventive, delicious, fine home-cooked meals, who share incredible experiences of local life through their guided tours, while being highly responsible for the well-being of local community and nature, and, last, but not least - leaving guests, who don't speak French feeling comfortable. B & B Mariamacounda tiene vistas a la piscina y está en Toubakouta. Cuenta con restaurante, mostrador de información turística, bar, jardín, piscina al aire libre abierta todo el año y terraza. We really liked the B&B in general but were especially impressed with the excursions that were offered. David gave us a guided boat tour where we visited the small nearby island towns of Sipo and Missirah and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Jenny was also very helpful with the logistics (especially because I don't speak French!) and helping me organise our time in Senegal. El Hadj is their taxi driver and we organised pretty much our whole trip throughout Senegal with him - he was fantastic. And there are a few restaurants nearby with delicious food. The breakfast offered at the B&B was delicious. Thank you!
