The motel was better than expected regarding size, comfort and location. We had a one bedroom suite and it was perfect for 3 pre-/teens and two adult woman. We did use the pull out sofa and it was also clean and comfy. This is a 3 star motel. If you are looking for a luxury resort, this isn't it but for the price point we had budgeted this was a perfect place to rest our heads and relax. Despite the many kids running around, all the nights were quiet and we didn't here much noise.

The Melrose was a great place to stay. Walking distance to the beach. Room was clean and large with our own private bath. We had never stayed in Ocean Grove just always drove down for the day. Staff was friendly and so were the people we met staying there. Very quiet. We were happy to get away for a mother daughter weekend and stay in a nice place.

Room was private and quiet, had a really nice view. I was able to sit and relax which was really nice!

We loved the location, so near the boardwalk and Spring Lake main street. The hotel was charming and quaint and staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
