The dinner at the accommodation is excellent, the rooms are very clean. The perfect pool for relaxation. We could try a lot of different local snacks. I definitely recommend this for a few days of authentic southern Vietnam.

Perfect for relaxing for a few days I. the Mekong Delta. used their free bikes to explore the area. staff were brilliant.

The man speaks english and does most of the communication through whatsapp, which is very helpful. He responded very quickly to our requests and questions. We also booked a boat tour this way. The accommodation is very nice and clean and if you would like to eat at the homestay in the evening (besides breakfast), the wife will cook for you. The food is also good!! One thing to mention is that the homestay is not located at the location on booking.com, but they will pick you up at the busstation if you ask and drop you at the accommodation. To get around the city (which is about 20 minutes away) you can borrow the motorbikes that they have. If you’re not confident driving yourself, they’ll take you on the back. That’s what we did. The main road to the city is not really walkable so the bikes are a necessity. Overall we would really recommend this homestay if you like to have some chill and quiet time in a more remote area.

Húng and Nhiên, who both are genuinely kind, spent a long time showing us around and introducing us in to the local life. We had the chance to pay a visit to their neighbors and their farms (coconuts, grapefruit), taste amazing cuisine , collect seeds of local flora and get into the local pace of life. It's a dense and culturaly fulfilling experience. I highly recommend visiting Mocay if you are traveling around southern Vietnam.

The air-conditioned units have a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, an oven, kettle, and a microwave. The hotel is situated in a very peaceful und relaxing rural area, with little farms in the neighborhood.  The building and especially the terraces and outdoor lounges are carefully decorated with lots of love for tradition and local culture.  The host is very friendly and helpful and makes you feel at hone immediately. Food was great, very recommended! You can borrow bikes from the neighbors to explore a nearby island where a ferry takes you across the river.

At the inn, every room has a balcony with a garden view. With a private bathroom equipped with a shower and free toiletries, rooms at Hide Away Bungalows in Ben Tre City also provide guests with free WiFi, while certain rooms here will provide you with a lake view. The units will provide guests with a minibar. I don't know if you know the feeling when you're on your way from one place to the next and only have to make a stopover to meet the basic needs: eat, shower, chill a bit, sleep, a taxi at an unspeakably early time and especially someone who will help you through all of this even though you don't speak a word of Vietnamese. We found so much more in the Hideaway Bungalows: the best homemade pho I have ever eaten, very authentic, large huts with a beautiful outdoor bath area, a panorama window in the middle of the most beautiful jungle with jungle sounds, a host who even later in the evening helped with concerns (vegan breakfast or ordering a taxi early in the morning). And all this in a wonderfully rural area, where you get to know a lot of people and are still connected to the city 24/7. Together they guided me to the right bus station and it was only on the bus that I really realized how lucky I was to have found this place.

Tan Son Nhat International Airport is 87 km away. Nice hosts, phoned a bus company to pick me up at the motel. Location is not bad, but bicycle to rent was at affordable price anyway of 80,000 per day.
