Owners of the homestay were very nice. The man speaks english and does most of the communication through whatsapp, which is very helpful. He responded very quickly to our requests and questions. We also booked a boat tour this way. The accommodation is very nice and clean and if you would like to eat at the homestay in the evening (besides breakfast), the wife will cook for you. The food is also good!! One thing to mention is that the homestay is not located at the location on booking.com, but they will pick you up at the busstation if you ask and drop you at the accommodation. To get around the city (which is about 20 minutes away) you can borrow the motorbikes that they have. If you’re not confident driving yourself, they’ll take you on the back. That’s what we did. The main road to the city is not really walkable so the bikes are a necessity. Overall we would really recommend this homestay if you like to have some chill and quiet time in a more remote area.

MOCAY farmstay está en Ben Tre y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, jardín con terraza y vistas al jardín. Algunas unidades tienen zona de comedor y/o balcón. La habitación invernadero tiene unas vistas preciosas. Nosotros reservamos otra, de 4 personas y nos dieron esta, que era más pequeña, pero al tener las vistas tan bonitas, no quisimos insistir en el cambio. El alojamiento está en medio de caminos típicos del delta de Mekong, en una zona preciosa, aislada de zonas turísticas y de ruidos. Es un lugar peculiar, vivimos lo más rural de Vietnam aquí, y nos gustó la tranquilidad del lugar. Ellas mismas te preparan el desayuno (incluido), comida y cenas (de pago), con platos locales y sabores diferentes. Lo único malo que no hay opción de elegir lo que te apetezca comer en ese momento, y hay veces que los platos pueden no ser para todos los gustos. Además, organizan actividades (de pago) para que conozcas el entorno.

Ben Tre Inn se encuentra en Xóm Kính y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, jardín con terraza y vistas al jardín. Todas las unidades tienen baño compartido totalmente equipado con ducha y zapatillas. This place is perfect to relax after HCMC. You get a rich breakfast (soup or eggs, tea, fruits) in a garden terrace with lots of flora. There is also a friendly doggy and a cat. Room was nice and clean. They offer bike/motorbike rental service to explore the area. They are also selling tours if you are into that but the best thing overall are the owners who promptly took care of every little inconveniences and overall were very helpfull and sweet. Limited english but you get in touch with their english speaking daughter via phone. She helped me to book a bus yay!

Queríamos conocer una zona del Mekong un poco apartada de los típicos recorridos turísticos que salen de Ho Chi Minh y encontramos este Homestay, limpio, cómodo y muy bien situado para hacer excursiones, tanto guiadas como por nuestra cuenta, por la región gracias a las bicicletas que ponen a tu disposición gratuitamente. Tienen un menú variado de opciones para comer y cenar, platos típicos cocinados en el propio establecimiento. Las habitacione son cómodas y el encargado del Homestay te hace sentir como en casa.

Hide Away Bungalows in Ben Tre City, en Ben Tre, ofrece alojamiento solo para adultos con bicicletas gratis, jardín y terraza. It really was a great hideaway and base for exploring Ben Tre. It is located on the quieter side of the river and way better than staying on the city side as it is quieter and has more of a village feel. The homestay provides free bikes and it was easy to get around on small side roads and explore the area. The city is a quick 10 min bike ride away shall you need anything more. The homestay itself is cute and homely, with a small shared living space that you can order dinner from and reach the friendly receptionists for any questions. The rooms are located just behind a little stream at the back and provides total quietness. Each room is uniquely themed so be sure to look at all of them! We stayed at the triangle shaped room and loved our view. Internet is great and we enjoyed our daily coconuts that came from right from the tree beside us. It was such a lovely place to get away from HCMC for a few days. It is a great value for price!

Gorgeous dinner & bbq at the river… for sure our highlight during the whole Vietnam holidays.

I came to Ben Tre from Can Tho to continue my photography tour, but I was mistaken in thinking Ben Tre would have the same photography options. I'm a photographer and have been traveling around Vietnam for months and will continue next year. Luckily, I stayed at Hoa Lan Homestay, and it was a very pleasant experience. Both Mr. Nguyen and his wife made me feel at home from the very beginning with their constant attention, all of which resulted in me no longer being Mr. Nguyen, but Duy, a friend. Thank you for everything. I will definitely come back here if I return to Ben Tre. Soy fotógrafo y llevo viajando por Vietnam desde hace meses y continuaré el próximo año. Por suerte me aloje en Hoa Lan Homestay y para mi ha sido una experiencia muy agradable. Tanto el Señor Nguyễn, como su esposa, me hicieron sentir en casa desde el primer momento con sus constantes atenciones, todo lo cual derivó en que ya para mi no es el Señor Nguyễn, sino Duy, un amigo. Gracias por todo. De seguro que volveré aquí si vuelvo a Ben Tre
