The boat was really nice and well maintained. Did a nice cruise across the lake and into a smaller channel. Also did some kayaking which was all organised by Jos! Thank you. Everything was hassle free and the houseboat was nicely priced.

Staying at Taras Houseboat in Alleppey was an incredible experience! The boat was beautifully maintained, with clean and comfortable interiors, and the views of the backwaters were absolutely stunning. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed, including delicious freshly prepared meals. It was the perfect way to relax and enjoy the serene beauty of Kerala. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Alleppey!

This was my second visit to Alleppey but my first with my daughter. This houseboat exceeded our expectations and helped us enjoy the beauty of the backwaters. MAHARANI - Beautiful traditional style boat in a peaceful location with local life to view whilst cruising. The ‘Captain’ Manoj and his assistant Geethu together with our chef and Adie who waited on us all day were amazing. We got off the boat and purchased tiger prawns and calamari from the locals en route and our chef cooked these to perfection together with a total ‘banquet’ of delicious local dishes. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Pure decadence and excellent value. Lastly a huge thank you to Alush M (Front office manager) who organised us from instructions to finding the resort to offering us all the services the resort has to offer and ensuring our stay was perfect. Highly recommend this trip!

Fairly new houseboat with all the mod coms available. Good Wi-Fi, excellent size rooms, amazing and plentiful meals all the way through. At night they created lovely atmosphere during dinner, great crew that will get off there way to help, and plenty of activities during the day.

Tried to accommodate needs of western family - one not spicy dish especially for us at dinner. Good value - one of the cheapest house boats we found and was still good. Provided a little more a/c than was promised. Fairly clean. A good trip. Optional extras like short canoe trip to village available. Helped with onward plans - kayaking.
