The Boat Hotel is situated in the vicinity of the famous Dancing House, right next to the tram stop Jiraskovo namesti and 300 metres away from Karlovo namesti metro station. We stayed here off season for 2 nights, so it was very quiet all around. The location was great, not too near all the tourism, but close enough to see everything. The staff greeted us very warmly by name upon arrival. She informed us that our room would not be available on the Matylda due to technical issues, but on the Klohilda we recieved a free upgrade. She spoke perfect english and helped us get our car situated in a nearby parking garage for 18€ a day (24hours) - Do take this offer. You won't find anything for less nearby. We were able to get a table without reservation on the neighboring boat for dinner. It did fill up quick, so even off season you may need to reserve in advance. It was fantastic. I do recommend getting a meal there. The atmosphere was good, wait staff were friendly, spoke english and we were able to pay by card. For breakfast we could order something from a menu, plus there was drinks, fruit, yogurt and bread available, buffet style. All was very fresh and nicely presented. I also recommend taking the breakfast for 12€. We only ate breakfast the first day, and on the second morning elsewhere, because we like to try out more than one place. For those worried about getting "seasick" at night - no worries. I only noticed small waves twice, which may have been imagined. Even so, the beds are so comfortable and the bedding was very cozy.
