I enjoyed every single moment of my 8 day stay on the Seabreeze and did not want to leave when the time came. I had imagined there would be limitations to what facilities were possible on a houseboat but I was wrong. There was great air-conditioning, a full-size fridge and the shower was better than my shower at home. Each evening, I went up to the sundeck and laid out on a lounger with my book, enjoying the gentle rock of the boat. Once the sun went down (always spectacularly), I'd go down and sit on the front deck enjoying my evening meal with a glass of wine and listening to the sounds of the marina winding down for the night. It's worth saying that there are lots of Italian families staying on their own boats at the marina so everything feels very safe and, while you are not disturbed by it, you do not feel isolated. In my 8 day stay, no-one ever played music or did anything to disturb the peace and quiet and so I'm assuming this is a marina rule. In the evening, you might see boats returning and the quiet chatter of families catching up before bedtime but I'd say that by 10.30 p.m. everything was completely quiet. The walk into Alghero old town took about 15 minutes along the seafront. You can then walk along the walls to enjoy the spectacular sea views or take a boat excursion from the many on offer along the quayside. There is a small grocery store (EuroSpin, similar to Lidl) or a larger grocery store, Conan, in the opposite direction. Conan has more choice, a big wine and bakery section and more treats.... The icing on the cake is the hosting by Claudia, who is a natural hostess and intuitively knows how to care for guests while affording them private enjoyment of their stay.

El The Homeboat Company Sant'Elmo-Cagliari está atracado en el puerto de Cagliari, a 4,4 km de la playa de Poetto y a 700 metros de la feria internacional de Cerdeña. Super helpful staff. The breakfast delivery was awesome. Being on the water was unforgettable. I left an iPad and the held it for me until I finished my trip!

Hoceanika Houseboat Porto Rotondo está en Porto Rotondo y dispone de vistas al mar, zona de playa privada, terraza, restaurante y bar. El barco ofrece wifi y parking privado, ambos gratis. All was fantastic , the place , the nature , the people ... The Water is sóo crystal clear , the restaurant and the Garden near the houseboat fantastic Boho style ... The owner of the Houseboat sóo supportive , helpfull and really professional ... The roof with chairs etc ...amazing ! For us ( we have been there with 2 Teens ) it was the best holiday ever ( and we do travel a lot ) ... We could also swim on the SUP board which is attached to the houseboat ... Alghero houseboat Blue Zone se encuentra en Alguer, a 4 min a pie de Lido di Alghero y a 200 metros de Alghero Marina, y ofrece alojamiento con aire acondicionado, balcón y wifi gratis. The houseboat is just fabulous. We only stayed one night regretfully. The location is good for the beautiful old town and the beach. The bed is super comfy with memory foam pillows. The shower is excellent. We enjoyed wine and sunset on the top deck. It’s fully equipped with everything you need. Communication was excellent. The boat is very clean with luxurious towels and sheets. They also supply beach towels. I would recommend The Blue Zone and definitely stay again. I would recommend for a lovely experience.

Blu, que tiene vistas al mar, dispone de alojamiento con salón de uso común, terraza y bar a unos 38 km de Nora. Está a 9 min a pie de Feria Internacional de Cerdeña y ofrece cocina compartida. Great location and lovely restaurants in the port. Our host, Luigi was so helpful. It was a fantastic experience and our 5 year old absolutely loved it.

We loved the experience of sleeping on a boat moored in a quiet marina. The owner was very friendly in his communication with me and the skipper of the boat who greeted us when we arrived was lovely. He explained everything we needed to know in a mix of English and Italian. The boat has everything we needed for a comfortable stay and breakfast was left for us. It was fun making coffee on board and having breakfast on the deck. For an additional cost, we chose to do a private sailing which was a wonderful experience. Marco allowed us to steer the boat and we had great views of the coast followed by a delicious brunch on board when we returned. A highly recommended experience.

HouseBoat Cagliari, que cuenta con terraza y bar, ofrece alojamiento en Cagliari con wifi gratis y vistas al mar. Este barco está a 41 km de Nora y a 3,6 km de Museo Arqueológico Nacional de Cagliari.... I loved the experience, the location, and the host. For a solo traveler, it was amazing.
