A unique place to explore Tortuguero. Primo and his family are lovely people and were very helpful to make our trip a very nice stay for us as family with two teenage daughters. Very nice and fully equipped apartment. Peaceful and quiet and close to the beach. The owners were super friendly and helped us with all requests. We also booked the canoe tour and the day walk tour with the location and had a great time. We highly recommend it.

Already the arrival was very pleasant: We were welcomed by Gabriel who picked us up from the boat and walked us to our house. The house was great! Lovely decorations, super clean, good wifi, kitchen equipped with everything you need, quiet and with green all around and right at the boarder of the National Park. Gabriel and his colleague Rodrigo gave us a little walking tour around the village with recommendations for restaurants and info/history about the town with a visit to the Turtle Museum. They were such great guys that we decided to do a Canoe tour with them the next morning and also that we enjoyed very much. Tortuguero is amazing and peaceful with its infinite beach, the canals & the park with its amazing wildlife - definitely one of our highlights of our Costa Rica trip.

Fantastic location in the middle of the stunningly beautiful finca.. Incredidbly welcoming people too, Tati and Marisela (sorry if I’ve got those names slightly wrong 😂) are such lovely hosts. I recommend everyone to leave the world behind and come and stay here for at least a night or 2.

    The price was great for private room with a big bed and I especially enjoyed the air con. Also the kanoe tour I booked through the hostel was amazing, it was a little more expensive than some other options in town, but we were only three people on a small boat while other groups were on big and loud motor boats. The hostel is kind of hidden in the back of the village, but it has a view of the ocean, which is stunning!
