The High Dive is run by Nigel and Lisa - wonderful people that will do everything to make you feel at home. It is perfectly located in the south of the island and has a reef that can be explored right in front. The owners are very helpful in any way (organisation of diving, snorkeling, sailing etc) and put strong emphasis on running the hotel in an ecofirendly way. As such litter is being collected and all thrash is brought back to the mainland. The staff as well is amazing. We will definitely come back.

Hendi is a great host who tries his best to ensure you have a great stay. The room is exactly as seen in the pictures - very basic, but if you’re looking for an authentic experience of island life on Gili Gede then this is it! The location is right on the beach in the middle of the local’s village. There’s some Warungs near by otherwise you can walk 20 mins to the other side of the island where there’s a variety of places to eat.

Wonderful stay at Gili Asahan Eco Lodge. The place is amazing, with direct access to the beach and a nice snorkeling spot Kayak and SUP are provided to guests We visited 3 wonderful snorkeling spots with a small fishing boat, that was a nice experience Beautiful sunsets Excellent restaurant with indonesian and european (italian) food

Amazing beautiful awesome!! We had a very lovely time here. Staff were super friendly! - There is AMAZING snorkeling just off the beach. - They helped us with travel to and from the hotel. - very serene! Oh my gosh!!! This place was just paradise on earth! From the spacious villa with beautiful views over the beach and islands, the lush gardens, beautiful pool at the end of a magical path up the garden, surrounded by wilderness, to the amazing, friendly and helpful staff who went the extra mile (literally as Ahir collected a prescription for us in Matara when our son had an ear infection and purchased papayas for us from the market when he learned that we loved them) The location is really rural, quiet and tranquil but a boat was called for us whithin 15 min when we wanted to head out to the islands. I would recommend having a car or motorbike to explore the surrounding area. This was my favourite stay in our month in Lombok and if we’re ever lucky enough to return, it will be on top of my list for a re-visit. Thank you Ahir and the rest of the staff for the most wonderful, memorable stay 🙏🏼

Large room, clean, great money for value! and they will provide everything you need. We did a 5 Island snorkeling tour (full day) for 300 rupiah/person and it was the best of my entire life! turtles, giant squids, nemos, sea horses!
