The hosts were accommodating, providing a customised service suitable to our needs. Yet, Khajuraho Glory Homestay also provides amenities comparable to those of a luxury hotel: cozy, modern, spacious and comfortable rooms, a high quality comfortable bed, air conditioning, the best shower, same day laundry services, airport pick up and drop off. My experience at Khajuraho Glory Homestay has left an indelible imprint on me. I will always remember the warm aura and the homely ambience it provided me.

I enjoyed my time in Hello India Home Stay because of hospitality of Lavkush and his family. I liked village vibe of the hotel. Children were playing outside and riding bicycle. Cows, sheep and goats are walking on the street. Neighbors are talking to each other. I found this ambiance very charming and cozy. I liked hotel location as I needed some peace and silence after noisy and crowded Varanasi. I asked silence and no people around, Universe heard and sent me here! My room was comfortable and looked the same as in booking.com pictures. But there was NO electric kettle or coffee machine in my room despite booking confirmation listed it. I didn’t see any restaurants around, so I asked Lavkush to provide me with homemade lunch, dinner and tea during my stay. There is a family kitchen which can be used by travelers. One time I had my lunch at the Saffron restaurant opposite to Western Group of Temples in Khajuraho and can recommend that restaurant. What was confusing: Hotel is located incorrectly in booking.com map. When I checked booking.com, it looked like that hotel was at the end of the main street in a walkable distance from the main temples. So I had big plans how I would be running between eastern and western group of temples. But when I was in the hotel and next day opened map on my phone, both eastern and western group of temples were very far, 10 minutes of driving distance, not walkable. Hotel is located at Achanar village just outside of Kajuraho. Well, all temples were easily accessible by tuk tuk for 200 rupees one way. Wi-Fi internet issues: Wi-Fi internet was very weak and slow, that I had a digital detox finally! Internet worked veryyyyyyyyy slowly only when Lavkush was at home as he was sharing mobile internet. Electricity issues: There is no electricity from time to time, but Lavkush has backup generator.

Eastern gate homestay is a wonderful accommodation. The rooms are great value for money, including all facilities similar to a hotel. Comfortable mattress, big bed and clean facilities. The family also serves hygeinic food whenever requested. You can have hygienic food, local bundeli home food that is light and tasty. Meals made with unprocessed ingredients and tomatoes right from their garden. The family also arranges local e-rickshaws, autos, and cars for sightseing whenever requested at right rates. Dulhadev temple is just at a walking distance, and so is eastern group of temples. Western group is just 7 minute rickshaw ride away. It is a safe location, as we were all female travellers. Good value for money, stay to support local families and have enjoy the warm hospitable interaction with them

I liked the location because it was just what I was looking for. Far from the thronging crowd, amid nature, surrounded by farmland, waking up to bird calls. A peaceful quiet all around you, and within walkable distance from some of this sleepy town's major attractions, e.g. the Western group of temples. The hosts are very non-intrusive and make every effort to make your stay comfortable. Om Prakash Ji is knowledgeable and helpful.

This family homestay is definitely one of the very best I stayed at. Naeem Khan, one of the sons, a kind softly-spoken young man, takes care of every wish one could have, going from practical issues such as groceries and laundry, to taking you to a sunrise view and the world-famous ancient Khajuraho temples, or to the Panna Tiger Reserve. His equally kind sister Roseny provides delicious home cooking with herbs and plants from the garden at whatever time you like. Clean cold water and tea are provided at any time, and a delicious breakfast is also included. // The spacious room and bathroom are very clean, hot water and towels are provided, and a quiet sitting place looking out over the inner courtyard is a wonderful place to work or simply sit and chat. // For motorbikers this place is ideal too, as it has safe a inside parking lot, and Naeem is a keen mechanic in case something is needed for your bike. // Do spare a couple of nights in this unique small town, and do spend them with this welcoming family. Very highly recommended!
