Tucked away in the forest but only 10 mins walk to shops & restaurants and 3 km from rail station. Calm and serene location, hosted by friendly couple who provided delicious Keralan food. Bags of space including generous hallway, equipped kitchen diner and good sized bedroom with adjoining bathroom. Effective mosquito screens ensured a good nights sleep. Air con unnecessary as all rooms equipped with rotating fans.

Very nice calm and peaceful place at the river. A very quiet neighbourhood in a bustling town. The host family did the best for our pleasant stay - we felt very comfortable - very welcoming place. There is a big garden with many fruit trees. Wonderful dinner and breakfast. They organised us transport - don't hesitate to contact the owner before your stay - they are very helpful. Hope to stay there again.

Very beautiful and quiet scenery, because the homestay is in the middle of the nature. Ajith and his family are the sweetest and most generous people and helped us with all our questions. One morning we did canoeing which was very nice in the surroundings of the homestay. The evening dinners and breakfast were cooked by Ajiths mother which were very tasty. Because we liked the atmosphere at the place so much we booked an additional night.

Breakfast was typical of the region,so to the western palate was a bit strange but we soon got to like it. It was followed by Marsala omlette which was great. The chef Amal was always on hand to make lemon sodas or fresh orange juice which he did frequently as it was so hot Vaikash the manager was very helpful , even to the extent of filming the route into the village so we wouldn’t get lost The Heritage hotel is set down a side street and as soon as we were through the gate we left the sounds of people and traffic behind us It is a bit remote but for us that was the attraction. The village was a ten minute walk and the lake shore was a short Tuk Tuk ride away All four members of the staff went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible The pool was well maintained and was a godsend in the hot weather We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will make a point of returning

Fabulous Holiday home well maintained and operated by super friendly and polite host Mr. Binu. All the required facilities are provided keeping up to the quality standards. We stayed in their 3 bedroom apartment and enjoyed their hospitality very well. The most important thing is they are not compromising on the quality of the products and services. The delicious home made breakfast is worth to be mentioned. Great ambience, location is good and safe for family. Highly recommended.👍
