Avea is located in Anna Nagar. The building has a lot of creepers, which really helps to provide some form of privacy from the other buildings and the main street. Getting an auto or an Ola ride is also pretty easy from here. A popular landmark is Ambiga Cinemas, which is across the road (in case you need to tell the auto driver for pick up/drop off). The room was slightly small, but it was clean and comfortable enough for a few nights' stay. There are also some tables and chairs for guests to use downstairs. We were happy with our room. The host at the reception (Ram) is such a nice guy! He answered each and every query patiently, suggested different options for us to take the auto, about visiting the Meenakshi temple, as well as some of the logistics for our next trip to Pondicherry. That honestly made our stay a lot more comfortable and relaxed. Thank you! Although there aren't breakfast options at the hotel itself, there are MANY restaurants, bakeries, tea stalls etc along the street/walking distance. There's a stall in the evening (right opposite the hotel - across the road), selling crispy vada and other local snacks. I'd definitely recommend for you to try it. Yummo! There are mosquitoes outside - just use repellent, and you will be fine!

Perfect location for a visit to Madurai. Meenakshi temple is only 5 minutes away in a tuktuk. Spacious room and the staff is extremely helpful. Swift communication over WhatsApp and good recommendations and help. Rooms are very clean and good bed and away from the road so quiet. Recommended!
