The location is just perfect. There are no stores around and closest city is a short drive away, but the nature surounding the flat was just incredible. We enjoyed the hotspring pools right on the other side of the street, there was sheep walking around the house in the evenings. A little terrace to sit outside was just a joy after a day’s drive. The flat is actually really spacious, we travelled in a group of 4 people and had enough space for everyone. Would certainly come back!

The guest house was super clean! Rognvaldur was very accommodating and suggested great places for us to visit. The view from our room and the dining area were spectacular! And sitting in the hot tub next to the sea watching the Northern Lights was purely magical. We’re so glad that we were fortunate enough to get to spend time in this slice of heaven!

Maria went out of her way to provide a little bed pillow chocolate which was a lovely touch to make us feel so welcomed. Amazing house with lots of space, very well equiped kitchen, laundry, a hot tub and great terrace. A natural hot pool is on the other side of the road. Make sure to bring enough food for your stay, there's no supermarket around. We were lucky enough to get three consecutives nights with northern lights.

We wish we could stay longer in this cozy little hut with the most amazing view. We couldn’t stop taking pictures of the ocean and the amazing clouds and colours right outside the cottage. We love it that we can see the beautiful view from the sofa and dining area. The heating kept us warm. There's a cute little fireplace as well facing the sofa. The terrace and the view are awesome but too cold and windy for us to take advantage of it. The temperature was around 1C late August. Well equipped. We had everything we needed to cook our instant noodles. Great location to base ourselves to explore the area. We appreciate having the self service seafood grocery and hotpool nearby. We received clear check-in instructions. Easy to locate. We matched the location on bookings.com to Google map.
