The breakfast was a typical Icelandic breakfast. They had little extras though like homemade rhubarb and orange lemon jam. Also they had a tea that was made from a herb that is found around there.

We loved all the small touches, interesting decorations with historical explanations on how the items were used. The property was spotless and super comfy.

Aska cottage is absolutely wonderful. Very cozy , everything clean and very well thought out . Kitchen very nice and came in very handy . We even had a barbeque outside Location is amazing . You have a beautiful view of the lake and church Bathroom very clean and beautiful I was amazed by how much you can achieve in that small cottage . And everything is neat and carefully done . The cottage is a little gem near lake Myvatn. And I would have stayed longer if possible . It is quite an expensive place but you also get a high-quality cottage in a beautiful location
