This is a very nice villa among the countryside, surrounded by beautiful landscape and peaceful sounds. The room and bathroom were very clean and the mattress super comfortable, everything was perfect to relax after long days of exploration. The breakfast, though simple, was simply appetizing. The accommodation is in pristine condition and the attention to detail is perfect. The accommodation is built with the guests in mind. The host family is most welcoming and ever-ready to make the guest's stay comfortable. The two children are a pleasure to converse with and they are a fountain of knowledge. The owner, Ruwan, is most helpful and prepared to take one to town or to local places of interest. Even if one wants to visit Sigiriya or any other destination in the Dambulla re3, The Green Jungle is the ideal place to stay. The Cave Temple which is near The Green Jungle, is an experience in itself, either to view6a sunrise or a sunset. The property is maintained immaculately and one can rest comfortably on the veranda or in the garden. The local buses (cheap and easy to use) stop close to the property. All in all, the family of husband and wife and two children, together with the maternal grandparents are ever-smiling and obliging. The grandmother will be prepared to cook you some lunch or dinner as required.

Nihal, the owner, was exceptionally nice. He picked me up from the busstand and dropped me off there after my stay. He organised everything for me, one day he showed me around Sigiriya in his Tuktuk, another day he arranged a safari to Minneriya national park at a good price. He always offered me tea or coffee, biscuits, vegetable soup, bananas, etc. That was so lovely. When I asked for a Sri Lanka breakfast, I got the most fantastic breakfast the next day. He was really concerned about my well-being and I felt like a family member. The location is close to the city centre where you find restaurants, shops, etc. It was very quiet at night and you can sleep well.

Heartwarming hospitality and delicious food What a fantastic stay at Sunvsh Homestay. The host Anu is very friendly as soon as the booking was confirmed she were helped to planned the trip we needed at a low price compared to other places. Location is very good short walking to Dambulla Rock Temple and City Centre. While having breakfast you can watch birds, butterflies, squirrel and monkeys in the garden. Anu's mother food is excellent. We enjoyed sri Lankan rice and curry. Definitely the best meals that we had in sri Lanka. I would recommend eating there if you stay don't miss that amazing opportunity and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend people stay here.

We had an amazing stay at the Hideaway Garage. It was our first day in Sri Lanka and we arrived there very early in the morning directly from the airport. Even though it was early we could already have the room without any extra charge. The host is amazing and made our stay very special. He organized everything for us for a fair price, which was great and made our first day in Sri Lanka just perfect. We climbed Pidurangala Rock and went on a Safari, where we saw a lot of elephants. It was just the perfect day. The rooms are super nice and spacious and clean. Thanks again for everything. We would definitely recommend to stay at this place.

Roe was really welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. He gave a lift to the centre when it was dark outside and also a lift to the bus stand. He also offered reasonable price for a drive to Sigiriya. The room seemed newly furbished so it was pretty clean and spacious. It was also lovely to meet his adorable family during our stay.
