The apartment is spacious, quiet and 2 minutes walk to supermarkets and restaurants. The wifi is good and there is Netflix. It’s in a nice neighbourhood with a local feel to it. As such, restaurants are very reasonably priced as they are not tourist traps. Above all, the couple that runs the apartment, Sandra and Ricardo, are so caring and attentive to any need or question you might have. They are wonderful, charming hosts! I would definitely return.

Tugged away from the rest of the world, Ja opened a room of her ancestor's home to guests who would like to experience what it's like to live in Cape Verdian raw country side - which includes being offline, taking cold showers with a bucket and a mug, sleeping in pin drop silence (apart from the roosters), walking in the steep hills, etc. One can go with a shared taxi until the roundabout of Sao Domingos. From there, a local can come and pick you up for 300 ESC, or you can walk (it's absolutely safe, the locals are friendly and helpful, location on the map is accurate). They can also drop you to the airport for 1500 ESC, and it just takes 30mins to reach. Ja knows how to cook for vegetarians, too. She is a witty and interesting host to talk to. I am still amazed at the purity and simplicity of this place, and hope to be back one day.

Overall: I am very satisfied with my stay in this apartment. The combination of the great location, the tidiness, and especially the host's hospitality made my experience unforgettable. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

Gîte de rando haut bevindt zich in Mato Correia en biedt een tuin, een terras en een restaurant. Dit appartement heeft een bar en watersportfaciliteiten. The property, the decor and everything else about it. It's very private even though you have neighbors who were very welcoming, BTW. The neighbor offered us mangoes and even eggs from her chicken. People from Santiago are very warm and welcome people; this is all over Santiago. Yolanda cooks very nice meals at her restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

VILLA NAYELI Luxury and Simplicity is gelegen in Órgãos, op 20 km van Cape Verde National Stadium en 26 km van Sucupira Market, in een omgeving waar je kunt wandelen. We had a great stay in this big and modern house. The view was exceptional too. We would have loved to stay longer. The host also organised us a great diner right next to the house.
